With all this crap going on in the year 2020, sports is having a new look with spectators. It’s a sad reality, but until we adapt to COVID-19 or a vaccine is found, it’s not gonna change soon.
If the Bucs are to have limited fans this year, I have an idea that makes the most sense.
What I think should be done is this: Whoever had season tickets last year should be able to go to the games no questions asked, and any new season ticket holders for this year should either be given the option of a refund or putting it towards the 2021 season.
As for the people who bought individual game tickets, give them their refunds now! I know this idea isn’t gonna sit well with people who bought individual game tickets or are new season tickets account holders, but to me, it seems the fairest thing to do. If you let just last year’s season ticket holders go to the games this year, you’re making your die-hard fans happy, and you will be able to social distance just fine in the stands.
Be prepared, though, I think if this were to happen, the NFL would make everyone sign waivers, wear masks, and we would even probably get our temperature checked before we went into the stadium.
