In case you missed last week’s Thursday Night game, Ryan Jensen and Gerald McCoy had it out at the end of a 1st and 10 play late in the 3rd quarter. McCoy went up against Cappa and Jensen, but could not get past the blocking duo, and then words and pushes were exchanged. The refs stepped in to advert any further onslaught, but McCoy had to get the “last word in” by shoving Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen in the face mask, earning a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness and later fined $10,527.

Gerald McCoy commented on the incident claiming that Ryan Jensen had been getting “extracurricular” with him during the game and he was just responding to those actions. – per Pantherswire.
McCoy is the second former Buccaneers defender to be fined for unnecessary roughness in two consecutive weeks. In week one against the 49ers, Kwon Alexander was penalized 15-yards, ejected for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston, and later fined $28,075.
