Tom Brady returned to practice this week after his 11-day hiatus. That means he will most likely get to start and get some reps in during the final preseason game against the Colts on Saturday.

Greg Auman hinted at this on Twitter earlier today as well. Auman pointed out that Brady has played in every preseason game since 2008; when he was nursing a foot injury. Auman also mentioned that Brady has had at least twelve pass attempts every year during the third preseason game, except in 2016 when he had a four-game suspension.

Brady might not play very long on Saturday, but there’s a good chance he’ll be out there commanding his troops through a drive or two in the first quarter.

This week’s preseason finale will be another valuable chance for Kyle Trask to briefly watch the G.O.A.T. and take notes before going out there with another shot to show how he’s improving and whether or not he really could have a future as the Bucs lead QB.
