As reported by The Athletics’ Greg Auman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ general manager Jason Licht confirmed during the NFL’s annual meeting that the team would be participating in joint practices with the Tennessee Titans for the second consecutive season. The Buccaneers will travel to Nashville for the joint practices, as the Titans traveled to Tampa for last season’s joint practice sessions.

During last year’s joint practice with the Titans, fights broke out but leaving that in the past, the focus will be on these two teams learning from each other and getting in outside competition in preparation for the preseason.

Titans head coach and friend of Tom Brady, Mike Vrable, stated, per Titans Wire, that they [the Titans] will “anticipate practicing against Tampa, and also bringing in Arizona on that third week as well. Not only is it an evaluation, but it’s also preparation. These are good football teams. I mean, you saw what Arizona did to us the first week of the season; this is a talented team, a fast team. We know how good Tampa Bay is. And so these are opportunities for us to prepare and also evaluate our team.”
