Report: Buccaneers sign offensive lineman

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to be active in the offseason, signing recently waived Bengals offensive lineman Fred Johnson.
The waiving of Fred Johnson was a bit odd considering that the Bengals had just re-signed him 30 minutes prior to him being waived. Johnson was graded 81.0 overall by Pro Football Focus last season, the highest grade for any Bengals lineman that year. Johnson started in 8 of his 23 games for the Bengals and is able to play tackle and guard.
Johnson originally signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Florida. He was later waived and signed with the Bengals. The 6’7 322 lbs lineman will bring much-needed depth to the Buccaneers’ offensive line as they gear up to take on some unfinished business.
I can confirm the Bucs are signing offensive lineman Fred Johnson. Played at Florida, spent last three years with Bengals, cut loose after their recent additions. He's only 24, good size at 6-7, 326 pounds.
