The word on the street is Saquon Barkley wants to be a New York Giant for the remainder of his career. Unfortunately, the Giants may not see Saquon in their future plans. They could be shopping the once-promising Pro Bowler. Assuming the rumors are true, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seen as one of two spots to land Barkley.
With Leonard Fournette and Ronald jones testing the free-agent waters, let’s make this fantasy a reality; shall we? The Buccaneers could be inclined to offer someone like Tyler Johnson. He is ultra skilled and very young. The Giants could add with, Kenny Golladay, and Sterling Shepard. This would give Daniel Jones a plethora of weapons to utilize. The Buccaneers would certainly have to give up a pick, too. The deal could potentially look like this Saquon Barkley and a 5th Round Pick for Tyler johnson and a 4th Round Pick.
Would this be sweet enough to lure Barkley out of New York? Who knows, but what I do know is that if Tampa Bay can re-sign Godwin and pull off a trade for Barkley, the offense could arguably be just as potent as last year. Of course, it would depend on how the quarterback situation pans out, as well. How could you not want to take snaps down in Tampa with Evans, Godwin, and Saquon Barkley roaming the field? Stay tuned because the offseason is bound to have some impactful news dropping soon.
