Buccaneers Bring Back WR to Practice Squad

According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, the Buccaneers are bringing WR John Hurst back to the practice squad. Hurst was signed as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia in 2020 and made the initial 53-man roster before being placed on the injured reserve.

After being taken off of the injured reserve, Hurst was waived and signed with the practice squad last year before being released in November. Hurst spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers this preseason before being released. John Hurst has not played an actual snap in an NFL game yet.
