In the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, Buccaneers CB Sean Murphy-Bunting suffered an elbow injury after colliding with S Antoine Winfield Jr. and Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb in the end zone. As a result of Murphy-Bunting’s injury, the team now has a big void to fill in the secondary.

Multiple reports have brought up Richard Sherman and interest in Tampa, but nothing has come out of that so far. However, the team has been working out defensive backs and even signed one to the practice squad.

According to the NFL transaction wire, the Buccaneers have worked out Shawn Davis, Tre Roberson, Rashard Robinson, and former first-round pick D.J. Hayden. The team ended up releasing Herb Miller and signing five-year NFL veteran Robinson to the practice squad yesterday.
