Jordan Whitehead Out, Chris Godwin Quad Injury But Everyone Else is “Ready To Roll”

We recently spoke about Jordan Whitehead‘s injury and not practicing and possibly not playing in the season opener against the Cowboys. It is now official that he will miss the season opener as Bruce Arians broke the news to the media on Tuesday the Whitehead is still dealing with a hamstring injury. However, everyone else is ready to roll!

Mike Edwards and Ross Cockerell will fill in nicely in Jordan Whitehead’s absence. Wide receiver Chris Godwin was a bit signed up and was limited participation today with a quad injury, but that isn’t likely to cause him to miss Thursday’s game.

Veterans Rob Gronkowski, Steve McLendon, and Jason Pierre-Paul were rested.
