Buccaneers Protect Four Practice Squad Players for Week One

Today, the Buccaneers announced that they are protecting four players on the practice squad. The players are S Andrew Adams, WR Jaydon Mickens, T Brandon Walton, and TE Deon Yelder. With the protections, this means that other teams cannot sign these players to their active roster until the next game week. This rule was implemented last season due to COVID-19 protocols in case a player on the active roster was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
