According to Scott Smith, senior writer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, “Bruce Arians said that Jameis Winston ready to go” for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
Winston had suffered a fractured thumb in last week’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, in which, he came out of the game for a short series and then returned to lead the Buccaneers to victory.
He had been seen wearing a preventative Cast all week and was limited in practice, not throwing a football, but going through throwing motions on Wednesday, and throwing a tennis ball on Thursday.
The toughness of Jameis Winston has never been called into question and he will continue to show that toughness in the Motor City this weekend!
