“Not participating Demar Dotson – not injury related, just a vet day off. Will Gholston was limited, Carl Nassib was limited, Anthony Nelson was out, Jason Pierre-Paul was out with a knee, and M.J. Stewart. Jameis was a full participant. Good start to the week.” That is how yesterday’s press address begin with Head coach Bruce Arians.

JPP being sidelined yesterday in practice was terrible news, but there is some great news as it seems Jameis Winton’s ankle sprain is not something that will keep him from practicing this week or playing against the Falcons. Carl Nassib’s return is wonderful, especially if Pierre-Paul’s injury turns out to be severe. Pierre-Paul, recently, overcame a broken neck, so there is a good chance he won’t miss much time if any, with his knee injury. The severity of his knee injury is not yet known, however, per Pewter Report, JPP looks to be back at practice, but wearing a knee brace.

The veteran defensive player dealt with a multitude of injuries last season, but finished with the Buccaneers’ first double-digit sack total since Simeon Rice recorded 14 in 2005. I wouldn’t worry too much about JPP’s ability to overcome the knee injury, as he did just come back from a broken neck. He dealt with multiple injuries last year, including one that was knee-related and still managed to start every single game.
