Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians addressed, on SiriusXM NFL Radio, the trade deadline and stated that Tampa is shopping and that they would consider letting any of their players go to another team via trade.
“If the price is right, the deal is real. Anything can happen. If somebody WANTS ONE OF OUR PLAYERS, IT’S GOING TO COST and to a point where we’re going to say, ‘YES,’ if not, ‘no.’ And we’re looking for guys ourselves. So if that price is right, then yes, we’ll do the deal.”
So, BUC UP guys! The Buccaneers are actively seeking new talent to add to this team, and as we said before with the O.J. Howard rumor article “Howard on the Move?“ the Buccaneers will make a move if the price is right! It’s gonna take a lot to get Howard as the Patriots found out earlier this month. However, if the Patriots are still interested in Howard, then maybe they should try again and up the anty. Despite the word coming out that HOWARD is non-negotiable, Arians and our Sources via One Buc have said otherwise.
Howard was recently asked if he heard about the Patriots calling about him, and the team saying not available. O.J. Howard said, “yeah, I’ve heard the same thing. Like I said, that’s out of my hands. I can only go here and be in the moment I’m at right now. I’m an NFL player. I just want to succeed and be successful in the best way I can. The only way I can do that is to come to work with my working hat on and stay focused.”
With that being said, the Buccaneers have just 5 days remaining until the trade deadline, and hopefully, we can snag us a player or players that can help get this ship back on course, without having to give up too big of a talent.
