First off, BUCS WIN!! Let’s just take a second to rejoice, as our defense, yes our defense made a crucial stop on 4th down that beat the Carolina Panthers 20-14 in Charlotte in prime-time.
Now, it’s not even hockey season yet and hat-tricks are happening.

Thursday night, Shaq Barrett recorded 3 sacks against Cam Newton. Though his stat line will just tell you he had only 3 tackles in the game, those 3 were those sacks.
Barrett now has 4 sacks in the last 2 games. That’s something that speaks volumes for our pass rush since JPP is out and that would’ve been his position. Speaking of JPP for a quick second, imagine having those 2 just bull-rushing you on an outside blitz. That’s scary.
Barrett seems to be taking to the 3-4 pretty well, considering he came from a 3-4 in Denver. Looks like all that mentorship from Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware paid off.
If I was Bruce Arians, I’d be giving a game ball to Shaq Barrett after that performance.
