Friend or Foe: Part 2

To follow up with the first meeting between former Buc DT Gerald McCoy and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’d say the night was just another McCoy night, just now he’s Carolina’s problem.

McCoy recorded 4 tackles (1 TFL and 3 Assists) and 0 sacks against his former teammate Jameis Winston. He seemed to have just been other there having another Gerald day. For a guy who calls himself Batman, he definitely wasn’t able to fight crime with some stats like that. For the record: After 2 games, McCoy has 5 tackles and 0 losses. McCoy was also called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the 3rd quarter.

For the first time in his career, McCoy was able to watch as the team he was a part of since 2010, stop McCaffrey on a 4th and 1 to clinch the Bucs first victory of the 2019 and the Bruce Arians era, beating the Panthers 20 Kind of a bittersweet feeling, almost like having a bad break up only to realize you made out better in the end.
