Bucs Could Use Veteran in The Defensive Backfield

Over the last few seasons, the Buccaneers defensive backfield has been terrible, and last season was no different. Starters rookie Carlton Davis and Brent Grimes were asked to play a zone scheme neither were comfortable with, and it showed.
This season under new D Coordinator Todd Bowles there will be a more aggressive backfield, something that current DBs Davis and Vernon Hargreaves are accustomed to. Although Carlton Davis showed promise Grimes is going to walk leaving the team with no real experience in the defensive backfield.
Luckily for the Bucs, the free agency is loaded with veteran DB talent, there is already interest in safeties Tyranny Mathieu and Landon Collins either one of which could transform the Bucs defensive backfield into an intimidating presence, especially if they decide to bring in several veteran CBs as well.
