Bucs Cap Problems
1 min read
Before the Bucs resigned Donovan Smith and Demar Dotson, they already had a huge issue with their salary cap. Now that they have re-signed both tackles the Bucs have approximately $1.7 million dollars in cap room. That’s not even enough to sign their upcoming draft picks, but before you freak out, there is a solution.
By releasing players such as William Gholston, Mitch Unrein, Bryan Anger, and Beau Allen would give the Bucs over $20 million in cap space. That would give the Bucs enough to sign their draft picks and maybe sign a pro bowl safety they have been coveting. GM Jason Licht got them into these cap problems, so now he’s going to have to get them out.
