Kwon Alexander To Test Free Agency?

Between deleted tweets to reports that the Bucs organization had no intention of paying Kwon Alexander a premium contract, the talks haven’t slowed down that parting of ways seemed to be coming. Well, it seems that has all but been confirmed now, and Both Alexander and the Bucs organization seemed to be prepared for just that, despite Tampa already offering him a deal last year.
While talking with Alex Marvez and Alex Boone in a SiriusXM NFL Radio interview, the 24-year-old linebacker finally broke the silence.
“It’s just up in the air. My agent Drew Rosenhaus is working on everything. We’re in talks with [the Bucs]. They’re talking right now. We’re just going to see what happens in free agency.”
There’s been talks for a while that other teams saw more value in Kwon Alexander than the Bucs organization does and were willing to pay him at that level even with his injury history. The veteran linebacker is ready to test the waters.
