Andre Ellington Will Help The Young Runningbacks
1 min read
It’s been a busy offseason for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They’ve built an entirely new coaching staff, and now it looks like they are attempting to beef-up the backfield.
The signing of Andre Ellington could be a big one if Ellington returns to form. As a rookie, he posted 1,023 all-purpose yards in only 12 games. The signing also reunites Ellington with Bruce Arians so picking up the playbook shouldn’t be a problem.
Ellington, when utilized, can catch passes and capable of making big plays just like another running back that might ring a Bell. (pun intended). By adding Ellington to the lineup and sharing the load with Peyton Barber, It could be a match made in heaven.
The big question is can he stay healthy?
I’d keep an eye out for Ellington. He may surprise you this year and may even be a steal in fantasy football. I’d keep an eye on him during training camp and the preseason because Arians didn’t sign him to sit the bench. Look for Ellington to make a big impact in the Buccaneers run game this year.
You can quote me on this and thank me later this season. Fantasy fans, I wear an XL size Buccaneers shirt. 😉
