The New England Patriots have hired former NFL head coach, Greg Schiano as their defensive coordinator.

As the man everyone in Tampa loved to hate, Schiano left the NFL and coached at Berkeley Preparatory school in Town & Country, (Tampa) Florida. Following his two seasons there, Schiano re-entered the NCAA Football scene as the defensive coordinator/associate head coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes until leaving in 2019.

Schiano has ties to the Patriots and their head coach, Bill Belichick. Schiano is a longtime friend of Pat’s head coach and had coached Belichick’s son Steve for one season at Rutgers. He also had coached Jason McCourty, Duron Harmon, and Devin McCourty who are current players for the team.

greg Schiano also has a long list of current NFL players, who he had coached throughout the  years:

Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu, Titans CB Logan Ryan, Bengals Long Snapper and TE Clark Harris, Bengals’ QB Tom Savage, and FA’s LB Jonathan Freeny and WR Kenny Britt.
