Jill Hobbs Deserves ROH Induction!

If there is anyone in the history of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise who deserves to be inducted into the Bucs Ring of Honor this year, it should be Jill Hobbs.

Who is Jill Hobbs, you ask? She first started with the Bucs organization in a temporary position n 1976, the first year of Tampa’s existence. She was then hired full-time in 1977 and went on to become the Bucs’ Player Benefits & Alumni Programs Manager. She also served as the executive assistant to the general manager during her tenure with the franchise.

Jill Hobbs passed away in 2021, and there would be no better way to honor her service to the organization than to posthumously award her with a spot in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ring of Honor.

Several former Bucs players deserve to be inducted into Tampa’s Ring of Honor, such as Hardy Nickerson, Ricky Bell, Simeon Rice, James Wilder, etc., but Jill Hobbs should be the priority.

I hope the Bucs organization does the right thing and inducts Jill Hobbs into the Ring of Honor.
