Father Time has been chasing Tom Brady seemingly for the last 20 years, but Brady just continues to outpace the legendary figure. This season has been statistically one of Brady’s worst efforts of his career. There have been mutiny within the offensive strategies leaving the fan base scratching their heads and wondering, “Does Tom Brady still have what it takes to lead the Buccaneers into a deep playoff run ?”

If Week 17 is any indication of what’s to come, the answer is a resounding, YES! Tom Brady was unbelievable this past Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. The Buccaneers needed this win to clinch the division and punch their ticket to the playoffs. So, with a huge game in front of them, did the GOAT show up? Let’s just say it felt like the calendar flipped back to the 2020 version of Tom Brady because he put the football wherever he wanted. It didn’t matter who was on coverage against Mike Evans because Brady continued to deliver time and time again. He would finish the day with 432 yards and 3 touchdowns. His QBR was an astounding 127.3, and he completed over 70% of his passes. All three touchdowns found Mike Evans’ hands. This made this week an easy pick for the FedEx Air Player of the Week: Tom Brady.
