Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught 10 passes for 207 yards and 3 TDs while helping the Bucs defeat the Carolina Panthers and lock in a playoff spot and back-to-back division titles.
His 207 yards mark the most receiving yards and touchdowns of any player in Week 17 and his 5th career game with 180 yards receiving or more and 2 touchdowns, tying Tyreek Hill for the most in NFL history. Additionally, Evans recorded his 9th consecutive 1000-yard season in his first 9 seasons, making him the only receiver in NFL history to do so.
Evans joins Chris Godwin as the only Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver to receive multiple Fed Ex offensive player of the week honor. He previously earned the honor in week 11 of 2014 and is only the 3rd former Texas A&M player in NFL history to earn multiple Offensive Player of the Week Awards, joining Ryan Tannehill, who has 3, and Rod Bernstine, who has 2.
