After listening to Tom Brady make it a point to apologize for his choice of words comparing the football season and military deployment, as a Veteran, I can accept that. In my opinion, you made it a point to address it before you began taking questions. You took complete accountability and I respect that. It’s still not a pass with all due respect.

For a person such as Brady to begin his presser with a sincere apology while taking accountability, it shows integrity and character. Now, with hearing that podcast where those words were made, I can understand where the mindset was, but just understand that they are entirely different and two different worlds. You witnessed a glimpse of it in 2018 when you visited Qatar. Thank you for admitting that there is no comparison.

“To be honest, I don’t really want to expand on it too much. But I have a tremendous amount of gratitude to everyone who served. In the end, we play a game, and the military is defending our country. It’s two very different things and I shouldn’t have made the comparison.”

I think the one thing that truly baffled me though is that there are actually individuals that attempted to validate those “choice of words” on social media. Next Gen Stats state that everyone of those individuals never served in any branch of the service nor have been deployed.
