Mike Evans is the only wide receiver in NFL history to record eight consecutive 1,000 receiving yards since stepping into the league. But for some reason, he is still in the discussions as one of the most underrated wide receivers in the game.

The Super Bowl Champion and 4-time Pro Bowler is still without a First-Team All-Pro honor, but that isn’t his goal. According to Ari Alexander, Canton is where he has set his sights.

“That’s what I’m working for, why not? I’m trying to be the best in the game right now, and ultimately one of the best to ever play”

Evans’s 1,508 targets for 606 catches, 9,301 receiving yards, and 75 touchdowns top the Buccaneers’ franchise records, but his over 9,300 receiving yards are good for the third-most yards by a wide receiver since 2014. His 75 touchdowns are also the most by a wide receiver in the last 8-years.

It’s high time to stop saying he is one of the most underrated receivers in the game and start putting some respect on his name as one of the best in the game.
