Today, the Buccaneers returned to practice and most of the injured players were practicing in some capacity. Antonio Brown was not one of them. According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, Brown was seen holding a crutch.

NBC Sports reports that Brown is likely headed to injured reserve and will miss a minimum of three games. Bruce Arians stated today that Brown has an ankle sprain near his heel and the injury could be more of a long-term injury.

The Buccaneers have depth at the receiver position but losing Brown could be a game changer for the next few weeks. On the season, Brown has 418 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Tyler Johnson would be the next man up along with the teams depth at tight end.

Update: Greg Auman of The Athletic reports that the team has no plans at the moment to place Brown on IR.
