The Bucs strolled into Gillette Stadium, bruised and beat-up. The team pulled off a win but did so with losses. The team was already without Sean Murphy-Bunting and Jamel Dean but took another major blow to the secondary when Carlton Davis left the game with a quad injury. Following the game, Bruce Arians stated that Davis could be out for a while due to the severity of last night’s injury and that there is no timetable on a return just now. An MRI will determine the severity of the injury and the length of time he will be out. For now, it’s believed he will miss at least the next couple of games.

“It’ll be a while, looks like.” Arians replied when asked about CD3’s situation.

As for Antoine Winfield Jr., things are not much better. Winfield Jr. had a pretty good game, recording an interception, which resulted in the Buccaneers missing a FG. He later forced a fumble on Patriots’ running back/ specialist J.J. Taylor, which Richard Sherman scooped up — that turnover also resulted in no points. Winfield Jr. later left the game in the second half and was placed into concussion protocol. There is no word yet on his situation or time frame to return.
