Kevin Minter to return, Scotty Miller severe turf toe

Kevin Minter (51) - bucpower.com
Bruce Arians spoke to media today and gave updates on Scotty Miller, Kevin Minter, and Antonio Brown. Sounds like Minter will be back at practice and Scooter will be missing some time with a toe injury.
As for Jamel Dean and Antonio Brown, it seems the answer to those questions is still unanswered.
Brown was placed on the Covid-19 list last week and although he is vaccinated, he still remains on the list awaiting further evaluation. For what my humble opinion is worth, he surely was missed in Sunday’s debacle. Thankfully, he will likely be returning to practice this week.
Cornerback Jamel Dean suffered a knee injury early in Sunday’s contest. The Buccaneers are extremely thin at the corner position and it showed, which has Buc fans clamoring for the Bucs to sign anyone; specifically Richard Sherman. Losing Jamel Dean for any length of time would certainly not bode well for an already depleted secondary.
Wide receiver Scotty Miller suffered a toe injury in Sunday’s game in Los Angeles, and reports are coming in that it is a significant one and could result in the third-year guy out of Bowling Green being placed in the Injury reserve. The Buccaneers are deep at the receiver position and in good hands with the team’s depth as Tyler Johnson showed on Sunday, despite only catching three passes, those three catches were good for 63 yards.
The Buccanneers are heading to Foxboro next Sunday in a homecoming game for Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski —and Antion Brown; kind of— which doesn’t necessarily need all hands on deck, but you never underestimate Bill Belichick and any trick he can pull from his sleeve.
“Well, we’ll definitely get Kevin back. We’re waiting on AB, as far as the COVID guys. The rest of the list is still being evaluated. We’re not sure about Dean yet.” Bruce Arians told the media on Monday. “The other guy that showed up was Scotty Miller with a pretty severe turf toe, so we’re waiting to see on a bunch of guys. We’ll know more by Wednesday.”
