Buccaneers Officially Name 2021 Team Captains

Today, the Buccaneers announced the six players who will be team captains for the 2021 season. The players shouldn’t come as a surprise.

On offense, QB Tom Brady and WR Mike Evans were named captains. This is Brady’s second time in two seasons in Tampa and Evans fifth season in a row being voted a captain

On defense, LB Lavonte David and LB Devin White were named captains. This is David’s eighth season in a row being voted captain and White’s second.

On special teams, LB Kevin Minter and P Bradley Pinion were named captains. Pinion and Minter both retain their role as special teams captains for the second straight season.

The Buccaneers returned all 22 starters from last season and it’s only right that they retain the continuity when it comes to team captains as well.
