Buccaneers Activate Kicker Ryan Succop; Runningback Has Ankle Sprain

Ryan Succop will kick in the season opener against the Cowboys on September 9. The veteran kicker was placed on the Reserve. COVID-19 list after testing positive last week. He was fully vaccinated but still tested positive. To make room on the roster, the Buccaneers moved offensive lineman John Molchon to the IR. Molchon is eligible to return in 3 weeks.

Runningback Geonvani Bernard is dealing with a mild high ankle sprain sustained in the preseason game against the Texans last week. With a week left until the season opener, Bernard has time to heal but is currently not practicing with the team.
