The Buccaneers Sign Fred Warner’s Little Brother

Safety Troy Warner, the younger brother of 49ers star linebacker Fred Warner, was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday from the Los Angeles Rams waiver wire.

He was signed by the Rams this year after going undrafted out of Brigham Young, where his older brother Fred starred.

In his 5 seasons with the BYU Cougars, he played in 43 games, recording 73 solo tackles, 47 assisted tackles, 2 INTs, 16 passes defended, and 2 fumbles recovered.

Warner will be on the Buccaneers’ Practice Squad.
