O.J. Howard is back at practice today after recovering from a ruptured Achilles suffered in the second half of the game against the Chargers last year.
The Veteran tight end has not completed an entire season healthy with various injuries ranging from hamstring to foot and ankle sprains to a tendon tear. When in the game, it’s obvious he has the skill to be a top-tier tight end; maybe this will be the year we will witness O.J. Howard’s greatness.
In his four seasons in the NFL, he has played in 42 out of 64 possible games, starting in them all but 3, recording 105 receptions on 159 targets for 1,602 yards, 79 first downs, and 14 touchdowns. It’s good to have the speedy tight end back out on the field after missing the playoffs and the Super Bowl. O.J. Howard will be another added weapon to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers’ arsenal.
Welcome back TE OJ Howard, who is practicing for the first time since rupturing his Achilles vs. Chargers last season.

OJ Howard back practicing today and just had a nice connection with Tom Brady on an out route in the red zone (11 on 11s). Brady pumped faked the defense to get them out of position. He missed Rob Gronkowski on the previous throw to the corner of the end zone.
