Vita Vea Expected to Miss Season

As confirmed by Rick Stroud, Vita Vea has suffered a seasoning ending leg break. His injury is certainly devastating to himself, but also to the team’s defensive line. Vea was a huge part of the defense and will not be easily replaced.

He went down in Thursday night’s loss to the Chicago Bears, and you could clearly hear on television the pain that he was going through and could tell something was severely wrong when he needed to be carted off of the field.

It was believed at that time that the injury was significant, but he will undergo an MRI to confirm suspicions. It’s a Bucs life. Promising season derailed by injuries.
