Yeah, the Bucs lost to the Bears on Thursday night football, and that was bad, but it wasn’t all bad. Despite having only 5 receptions for 42 yards in that loss, Mike Evans still comes out on top of the league with 6 receiving touchdowns. Evans has been playing through with an ankle injury sustained against the Chargers in week 4 and a hamstring injury prior. Although he has been in immense pain, he still has found a way to record 163 yards and two touchdowns on 12 catches in two games. Evans seeks to collect his 7th consecutive 1,000-yard season and seems to be on pace with 271 yards through 5 games despite being 97 yards short of his 2019 performance at this point in the season.

Adam Thielen – Minnesota Vikings, Tyler Lockett – Seattle Seahawks, Mark Andrews – Baltimore Ravens, Tyreek Hill – Kansas City Chiefs, and Calvin Ridley – Atlanta Falcons, all with 4 touchdowns, have a shot at dethroning Mike Evans on Sunday. Many others could pull it off during the Buccaneers bye week. But for now, Evans stands alone at the top with only Green Bay Packers receiver Robert Tonyan, who has a bye week as well, trailing by one.
