Hey fellow Bucs fans, we know how lethal our offense has been during the last few years, even with Jameis Winston and his constant turnovers. It has been one of the top-ranked offenses in the league, mostly in the total offensive yards department.
I can’t wait to see how much more dangerous our offense can be with Tom Brady at the helm, especially with an improved offensive line that can give him more time in the pocket. Brady is also well known for getting the ball out quickly, something that Winston didn’t do very well. On many occasions, he would hold on to the ball way too long.
According to an article on Touch Down Wire written by Mark Schofield entitled “Ranking The NFL’s Offenses From Worst To First”, Schofield predicts us to have the fifth-best/most productive offense for the 2020 season. He predicts the Bucs to finish with an average of 28.6 points per game, 397.9 yards per game and 5.9 yards per play.
I, for one, can’t wait to see the new look Bucs wreak havoc on opposing defenses this coming season. Opposing defensive coordinators are going to have nightmares, and maybe even lose sleep at night by staying awake into the wee hours of the morning trying to figure out a way to stop all of our offensive weapons.
I’m excited to hear a lot of cannon fire this fall! Go Bucs!
