DL DaVon Hamilton is the one man participating in the draft that few NFL fans no much about. He topped all DL with 33 reps of 225lbs in the bench press. He had the best vertical jump out of any interior D Lineman with 29.5 inches. At 6’4″ and 320lbs, that is quite a feat considering he is the 4th largest DT at the combine. He also ran a 5.14 forty, which is impressive for a player 320lbs.
The big man from Ohio State was pretty average his first few years, but last season he kicked it in gear and destroyed the competition. His 2019 stats: 28 tackles, 18 solos, 6 sacks, and 9.5 TFL in 13 games.
With Ndamukong Suh most likely on the move, the Bucs could use the 6-3 329lbs Hamilton as a transitional player at that 3-4 RDE spot if Suh does leave. He is definitely a hidden gem and impossible to pass up in the 3rd or 4th round.
