This offseason, the Bucs are going to have a lot more money to play around with than last year. We’ll see what happens with Winston, Suh, Pierre-Paul, Barrett, etc.

If I were the Jason Licht, I would either cut or trade Cameron Brate to open up even more cap room or try to get a draft pick for him. I would also cut William Gholston and try to go after a guy like Jadeveon Clowney. Seeing as how Seattle gave up almost nothing to get him and that he is now an unrestricted free agent, the Bucs should go after him with fair price in mind.

If Suh doesn’t come back to the Bucs, another free agent that I would target if I were Jason Licht, is Michael Brockers. Beau Allen is also a free agent, so maybe the Bucs could use the money they would save by letting him go in an effort to try to target a guy like Brockers, even if it’s for a short term deal.

Another name to consider is Teddy Bridgewater. It’s time to cut Blaine Gabbert and use that money to target Bridgewater in free agency, if possible.

The Bucs should also consider taking the money they saved by cutting Vernon Hargreaves and offer a contract to Chris Harris, as he is also a free agent.

Now that Demar Dotson is a free agent, the Bucs should consider using that money to target Anthony Castonzo in free agency and move Donovan Smith to right tackle.

Another free agent I wouldn’t mind seeing the Bucs go after is Brandon Scherff to shore up the right guard spot.

If I have to choose one more guy that I would like to see the Bucs go after in free agency, seeing as how Peyton Barber’s one year deal has come to an end, and with Ronald Jones’ play being inconsistent and the Bucs running game has been abysmal for the most part, they should go after Derrick Henry.

What do my fellow Bucs fans think?
