The kiddie corps secondary continues to come of age as the learning on the job experience gained early in the season has paid off. All these high draft picks – all this talent – just let them loose and get ready for the NFL 2019 style.
Then you have Devin White and Vita Vea. Two first-round picks who look like true studs. White was playing like Batman Wood from the first title defense of 40 years ago, even if the numbers are reversed. Fumble returns, interceptions, sacks – he even drove the bus home too as part of his all-round superstar performance.
It was not a perfect display against a poor Jaguar team, but it was a second straight road win. Even the most ardent Buc fan will admit being a little nervous in the fourth quarter when the Jags were knocking on the door down by two scores, but the scoreline can now speak for itself.
