Well, in typical fashion, the Bucs got the shaft from the refs that took the wind right out of the sails on Sunday. [Opinion Editorial]
Put all that aside and let’s accept the reality, that our Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-5. I’m with every Bucs fan when we say, we’re tired of losing simple games. After an extra week to prepare, the Bucs failed to defeat the Titans 27-23.
If I could speak to these guys myself, here is what I would have to say to place the blame equally.
Bruce Arians – My friend, you need to step your game up because we as fans are tired of losing these ridiculous games. You need to take control of this ship and guide it. We deserve better because you expect better. My advice, take play-calling duties away from Byron. Enough with the excuses.
Byron Leftwich – No offense, but you can’t call plays correctly, despite having a top-ranked offense. On 2nd & 20, you call a run with Peyton Barber instead of a quick pass for a gain to someone such as Godwin, Brate, or RoJo. You are killing me with this inconsistency. Let Bruce actually teach you how to call plays. Just work on teaching Jameis how to play smart outside of the pocket while extending the play.
Jameis Winston – All I need to say is simple, “You’re not the future, but you’re the present. Tighten up.”
Now, before you jump on your Winstoneer high-horse, minus a few bad decisions, he wasn’t too bad. But, this debacle with him has gone on for 5 years and no new result? Like the decision to throw deep to Breshard Perriman, when he has done absolutely nothing this season, nor in his career except run fast and drop passes.
I’m sorry, but I feel his time is done here in Tampa, but for the better of his career. He will absolutely go somewhere and flourish, just like the rest of them have.

Breshad Perriman – Exactly how do you run into a running back while in motion? You may be fast, but you always have and continue to still drop passes. You’ve also now sound just like DeSean Jackson hearing you’re quitting on routes and jogging. You, sir, need to go and go yesterday. You belong in free-agency.
Chris Godwin – Congrats on being the top receiver in yards, but run the correct routes. You can’t lead the league if you’re not catching passes. You can’t catch passes while running the wrong routes. Enough said.
Todd Bowles – Please for the love of the team put Vernon at nickel and let Sean Murphy-Bunting or Ryan Smith sit there unless you acquire a Chris Harris Jr or Patrick Peterson by Tuesday (Trade Deadline at 4 pm). Also, please teach these young guys how to line up correctly and how to improve more on passing plays.
Jason Licht– How exactly you received an extension is something of a mystery that even Scooby and the gang are trying to figure out. One thing is for sure, in order for it to truly make sense, you need to trade and trade smart before the 4 pm deadline. Your defense needs a #1 corner with a veteran presence that can help this young secondary.
My advice, you might want to inquire with your old stomping grounds in Arizona about Mr. Patrick Peterson or maybe hit up John Elway in Denver and ask about Chris Harris Jr. Look at what Shaq Barrett has done outside of Denver, imagine Harris Jr in your secondary. Also, look into Trent Williams in Washington since they’re shopping him around. Maybe offer up O.J. Howard and a 3rd round pick, and a 2020 4th round as compensation, for a 1st round and said player.
One last thing, bring back Spencer Schnell while releasing Scotty Miller and Perriman.
