Passing the Blame.

We can sit here and blame anyone and everyone for the Bucs humiliation in London. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were embarrassed in the worst way possible on the world stage; everyone was watching.

The Bucs were laughable on offense. The gland plan could have been written on a London pub beer mat it was that small, and that little effort was put into it.

The defense that was given a lot of love previously was shown for what it is; Mike Smith with Blitzes. They were unable to stop the run or pass. One benefit from this game helped many fans and analysts see why the Buccaneers were ranked so high in run defense; it’s simply because the opposition only runs when they get bored of throwing for large chunks of yardage.
Do I blame the players? No, because we all knew they were bad last year.

Bruce Arians come on down!

The head coach is responsible for game planning and preparation for the game. Arians has shown on 5 occasions he cannot do this.

I’m not calling for his head, just him to admit he got it wrong and not throw players under the bus. The bye week is upon us, and it’s time for changes to be made in the roster.

It’s a tough pill to swallow, but as the Head Coach, Bruce Arians has to admit he made a lot of mistakes in the preseason when he thought he had better players than he did. It’s the Head Coach’s responsibility to assess talent. He should know his players aren’t good enough and make efforts to improve the roster.

Todd Bowles doesn’t seem to have a plan for the defense. Yes, it’s great to see the team finally blitzing and getting sacks, but now the film is out, and those sacks have dried up. Bowles doesn’t have the next idea. The pass defense has arguably gotten worse than it was under Mike Smith before he was run out of town.

Byron Leftwich is struggling with his role as an offensive coordinator, and my suggestion to him would be that if he’s going to use Madden to call his plays then, he needs to move the difficulty higher than Rookie.

If you want to feel better, then sure look at the stats and tell yourself this wasn’t that bad. Just forget you saw the game.
