Rookie CB Jamel Dean is back at practice, after a brief stint on the injured list. This is excellent news for the Bucs, whose DBs have not played well up until now. This could mean Dean could take the place of either Vernon Hargreaves III or Sean Murphy-Bunting as neither has played well.

Dean brings a lot to the table. He is a big corner at 6’1″ 210 lbs, but he is also very athletic, running a 4.3 at the combine with a 41″ vertical leap. When Bruce Arians was asked about Dean HC Bruce Arians stated: “he’ll play.”

Dean could be paired up with CB Carlton Davis, who he played with at Auburn. Davis is the Bucs’ best man cover corner; it will be intriguing to see the two back together again.
