The Tampa Bay Buccaneers molly whopped the Rams on Sunday, and while doing so, History was made. Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein and Buccaneers kicker Matt Gay, both made history when the two each kicked 58-yard field goals.
Matt Gay has redeemed himself going 2 for 2 on the day for FGs and hitting all 7 of his extra-point attempts. I’m pretty sure that, “Cut Matt Gay” is not coming out of anyone’s mouth today.
.@Buccaneers vs @RamsNFL is the first game in the Super Bowl era where both teams made a field goal of at least 58 yards.
