Bucs are receiving trade offers for Caleb Benenoch.

During his recent In The Trenches Podcast, former Buccaneers offensive lineman Ian Beckles stated that Jason Licht revealed to him that teams are inquiring about Caleb Benenoch. According to Beckles, Licht was getting calls and being offered draft picks for Benenoch. Everyone is screaming, “trade!” I know!
Why hasn’t Licht made a move? It could be that if teams are inquiring about Benenoch that there is simply nothing available in the free agency pool. If that’s the case, we will have to be stuck with Benenoch. Some consider him to be a starter, while others consider him to be trash. I’m on the fence. while he is not my ideal guy to have starting or even backing up the starters, he is depth and has experience.
Arians also said this about the offensive line on Sunday,
Although Benenoch is a guard, he has played right tackle and started 5 games in 2017 as one, and with questionable play coming from our starting offensive tackles, Benenoch could be useful in that respect as well.
Despite fan disgust with the 2016 5th round draft pick and fans wanting Licht to jump all over a trade for a future draft pick, we may just need him so why trade him?
