Today’s practice showcased many different things for the team.

After news of Lavonte David having surgery, the defense allowed players such as DeoneBuchanon and Shaq Barrett to step up alongside 1st round draft pick Devin White.

Today’s practice also included kicker Matt Gay again showing the coaches how accurate his leg is by hitting kicks as far out as 55 yards, and 62 yards.

Jameis Winston also showed plenty of improvement hitting deep passes to Mike Evans, O.J. Howard, and Chris Godwin.

Mike Edwards got another interception when he picked off Blaine Gabert. As far as Ryan Griffin is concerned, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I believe that Vincent Tesdevered Jr takes his job. Testaverde Jr. played well today in practice and it looks like if he continues on the way he is going that he could take the number two spot from Blaine Gabbert aswell.

All in all, the team looks ready for their trip to the Steel City to take on the Steelers on Friday.
