Bruce Arians on Ndamokung Suh

1 min read

Bruce Arians is already raving about Ndamukong Suh, and rightfully so. During Arians’ post-OTA practice press conference on Tuesday, Arians described Suh as a “dominant player, a penetrating pass rusher.” He not only talked about Suh’s abilities as a pass rusher, but a run stopper as well. When talking about stopping the run, Arians stated, “he and Vita, it’s going to be really tough to run the ball inside against us.”

Arians, like most Bucs fans, I’m sure is extremely excited about the addition of Ndamukong Suh, especially because the Bucs needed to replace Gerald McCoy and ended up getting a player who is just as good as, if not better than McCoy for a cheaper price. Ever since Suh was drafted, he’s been one of the most feared defensive linemen in the NFL. He is really going to help our defense put a whole lot more pressure on opposing quarterbacks, which is something that the Bucs defense has been missing for the last several years. Todd Bowles is going to love having another weapon in his arsenal to utilize, especially when it comes to defending Drew Brees, Cam Newton and Matt Ryan.

I am really looking to the season. I see a lot of potential for us to improve upon last season. Go Bucs!
