Accountability: Hargreaves in Trouble?

1 min read

Arians doesn’t play games and you will be held accountable. He won’t sugar coat anything, so get it right or kick rocks.

Recently Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times Tweeted that,

“Bucs coach Bruce Arians said Vernon Hargreaves, has to get his mind right to practice. Hargreaves watched from the sidelines. Asked why he wasn’t ready, Arians said: you’ll have to ask him.”

With the rookie secondary making waves, this will put Hargreaves in a predicament despite being thought of as a player who would thrive in this new defense and able to regain his starting role.

Hargreaves did suffer a season-ending injury in week one against the Saints, so this could simply be a matter of “getting the stale out”.

Hopefully, that is the case, as Hargreaves hasn’t exactly lived up to fan expectation and many do not believe he has what it takes to make it in the NFL. Others would beg to differ, but time and Hargreaves will be the ultimate deciding factor.
