Licht Believes Nassib, Pierre-Paul, and David are Three Linebackers In The 3-4

Jason Pierre-Paul as a Linebacker? That is something that I would have never thought I’d hear in my life. But Jason Licht is of a belief that he will do well as a stand-up DE/LB in a 3-4 defense. Of course, this is likely coming from Todd Bowles himself, and who am I to argue with our new defensive coordinator? I just can’t see JPP paying coverage. Not that he can’t do it, it just feels wrong to me.
Nassib is an LB/ DE already, and we all know that he can play both positions. David should excel in the in a 3-4 and if utilized properly, we should see great coverage plays from him once more, along with a boost in his sack count. I really do not like bringing up the Schiano days, but if we can get David back into that form, 284 tackles, 9 sacks, and 6 INTs between 2012 and 2013, , then we are in for a real treat.
