Should Bucs Shop Cameron Brate To The Pats?

Opinion Editorial:
The Bucs are short on cap room which, they desperately need to sign their upcoming draft picks. One possibility is to release McCoy with his $13 million dollar cap hit. Another is TE Cameron Brate whose cap hit is $7 million dollars, and it just so happens there’s a team in need of a starting TE.
Rob Gronkowski has retired, leaving the Pats with a hole at TE. Brate would be an ideal replacement. He might not be able to block like Gronkowski, but definitely a red zone threat, as well on third downs. The Bucs should offer up Brate to the Pats and see how many draft picks they are willing to trade for the pass-catching TE, and also free up that $7 million in cap room that Brate was eating up.
