The Buccaneers are in the mix for free agent defensive Markus Golden. No surprise that the Buccaneers would be interested in the for the veteran defensive end as he has strong ties to Bruce Arians having been an Arizona Cardinals player since being drafted by Arians in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft.

The Bucs are currently in the lead with the Giants, who also seek Golden’s services. Both Teams have coaches with connections to Markus golden:

Tampa will run a 3-4 defensive scheme as the Giants already does, and it seems that Markus Golden prefers that style of defense.

Golden appeared in 46 games during his five seasons in the NFL, starting in 24, recording 6 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovered, 19 sacks, 122 tackles, and 42 hits on the quarterback.
