Spotlight: LB Devin White

Some mock drafts, recently have the Bucs taking LSU LB Devin White and the buccaneer. At 6’0″ 240lbs White is an explosive LB out of LSU. His sophomore season he dominated putting up 133 tackles, 13.5 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 1 INT, and 3 PD. He followed that up last year with 123 tackles, 12 TFL, 3 sacks, 6 PD, and 3 FF.

White is an incredible athlete with excellent sideline to sideline speed and is a viable starter in a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. He is also a devastating blitzer and must be accounted for at all times. His ceiling is incredibly high with pro bowl potential.

With both Kwon Alexander and Kendell Beckwith’s return in question, this is a great pick. White could be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
